Addis College Staff and Students Plant Tree Seedlings at Mount Debel Yohannes.

Addis College staff and students as members of the private higher education institutions take part in tree planting campaign organized by Ministry of Science and Higher Education in collaboration with Ethiopian Privet Higher Education Institutions Association at a place called Debel Yohannes located 28 km away from Sebeta town (Jimma Road -Oromia Region).  
The campaign is part of the ongoing national tree planting campaign under the moto of “Let’s Adorn Ethiopia” with the aim of tackling the effect of deforestation and climate change.
Speaking at the event to the Medias and college community, Addis College Vice President Dr. Mesfin Sileshi was quoted saying more than 100 trees were planted inside the compound of the college in addition to the 150 tree seedlings planted in that event by the college community this summer alone.
