College Overview
The present Addis College is started by giving vocational training. Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) serves multiple purposes. The key purpose is preparation of youth for work. This takes the form of learning and developing work related to skills and mastery of underlying knowledge and scientific principles. The long history of technical and vocational education in Ethiopia has reached its current stage since its inception in the 1930s. The Founder and Owner of Addis College, Takele Teferi Mangudayu, has realized the importance of vocational education from the beginning.
VISION
Addis College aspires to be one of the leading private colleges in east Africa in the fields of Engineering, Technology and Business in 2030.
Our mission is to provide quality education and prepare our students to strive and excel in a rapidly changing society.
The mission of Addis College is to produce modern, efficient, and competitive professionals and entrepreneurs with diversified outlook and research capabilities to constructively contribute to the ever-growing needs and aspirations of society in the areas of Engineering, Technology and Business.
To effectively realize the mission, The Addis College shall among others, carry out the following activities:
- Making the College an exemplary center of technical and technological education and training; constantly work hard to deliver better in every aspect;
- Providing trainees with a career foundation that equips them to be high experts/professionals and/or entrepreneurs;
- Diversifying the technical and technological including business education and training programs;
- Providing education and training in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
- Promoting research and scholarly activities to enhance its trainees’ competitiveness in their technological and business careers; and;
- Providing the required human, material and functional resources for quality education and training and continuously to be a competent institution in the country.
The College seeks to meet its stated mission statements through

- Relevant curricula leading to an exceptional learning environment with full access to new technologies and computer-mediated learning;
- Accumulation of intellectual capital created through the scholarly activities of its faculty and students;

Goals
Facilitate and support the collaborative activities of the college so as to consolidate the abilities and to produce qualified human resources in order to contribute to the overall national efforts of providing experts in the technology and business areas.

- Enabling trainees to become highly competent professionals/experts or entrepreneurs in technology and business.
- Contributing to the effort of raising the qualitative productivity of industries and business in the country; and
